“To speak about a crisis is to promote it. Not to speak about it, is to exalt conformism.
Let us work hard instead. Let us stop, once and for all, the menacing crisis
that represents the tragedy of not being willing to overcome it.”

Albert Einstein

This year is proving to be particularly tough for everyone and, therefore, also for all of us working in the world of culture. Taken from any angle, we simply cannot look the other way, and we need courage and a sense of responsibility to help us face the challenge and get through this situation and, what’s more important, give society, in whose debt we are and whom we serve, spaces for reflection and moments of excellence that make us more understanding and more generous.

Aware of this responsibility, we have and are working hard to offer a new edition of the Festival de Peralada, which this year will be our 23rd, where artists’ proposals, with their creations, come to us from the Castle Gardens stage, to dress the summer nights in regenerating attire.

We hope that every concert and show on this year’s programme contains elements that will help us grow as people and rediscover in ourselves the commitment which binds us to our environment and which helps establish the model of society in which we live.

We will have fulfilled our aim if, when the Festival is over, we have all enjoyed some unrepeatable moments, which with their magic take us to a different world, as we are convinced that everything can be changed.

To the audience, the artists, the sponsors, the institutions who support use, to the media and the extraordinary team of professionals who make the Festival possible:

Thank you for your contribution, your strength and we hope you have a summer to remember!
