It was 1979. The year that the legendary Camarón de la Isla released La leyenda del tiempo (The Legend of Time), a personal tribute to Andalusian artist Federico García Lorca. From that moment on, nothing would ever be the same again in the world of Flamenco: critics say that this was the album that changed the conception of this ancient art form forever to create modern Flamenco. Thirty years have passed and it seems that the milestone was true, as this work of art of the history of music has survived and is fighting fit. This was exactly the aim of the handful of top artists performing La leyenda del tiempo, 30 anys después (The Legend of Time, 30 Years Later), with music direction by Chicuelo and the special collaboration of the voices of Duquende and Silvia Pérez Cruz and the bailaora Rafaela Carrasco. Flamenco in its pure state and ballroom Flamenco, even with a string quartet. A unique chance to revisit an absolute classic.
