Genes & Jeans, the album which the Israeli artist will be presenting at Peralada, is a show that stands halfway between the singer’s past and present and relates her own history: her Yemeni ethnic essence, her travels through the American continent and her present in Israel, all gently caressed by the unmistakable sound of a creator who skilfully imbued her music with a unique flavour. Noa comes to the Empordà festival with her backing band, a group that includes her partner and collaborator, Gil Dor, guitarist and the show’s musical director.
