This show was born to astound. Presented as a “concert for voice, piano and string quartet in three movements”, it will transport Festival-goers to an unknown setting thanks to a new take on the most iconic creations of one of the great representatives of singer-songwriting, Luis Eduardo Aute. His honest and transparent discourse, his lyrics loaded with content and his musical and performing talent make him a benchmark in a genre that has spent half a century singing of freedom and emotions. With rigour and respect, Joan Isaac has adapted Aute’s poetry into Catalan and has reorchestrated his score to pay homage to him. The voices of Aute and Isaac come together especially for this one night to show us the poetic world of one of the major singer-songwriters of the last three decades.
