Seal and Diana Krall, the first names confirmed for the Castell de Peralada Festival

On 23 July Seal will be presenting his latest record 7, a compilation that has reunited him with his former producer Trevor Horn. The songs on 7 are about how a person feels at the end of a failed love story that has failed, generating a huge void, and they are about a hurt person who has left behind something very important. Since his career began, Seal has sold more than 30 million albums around the world. His greatest hits include the song Kiss from a Rose, which became the soundtrack for the film Batman Forever.
On 30 July, Diana Krall will be giving a concert to present her latest album, Wallflower(Universal), as part of her world tour. Krall first performed at the Peralada Festival in 2008 and she will be coming back this summer to celebrate the Festival’s 30th anniversary. The Wallflower World Tour will be filled with pop classics, including California Dreamin’ by The Mamas and the Papas, Desperado by The Eagles and Wallflower by Bob Dylan, among many others. With this concert, the audience is sure to enjoy one of the most prestigious vocalists of today’s jazz scene.
Seal and Diana Krall will be joining the programme for the 30th celebration of the Castell de Peralada Festival, which last January released word of its new opera project: Turandot by Puccini with stage direction by Mario Gas, which will be performed on the nights of 6 and 8 August in the Auditorium.
