LISE DAVIDSEN POSTPONES HER PERFORMANCE AT THE FESTIVAL CASTELL DE PERALADA

The soprano has informed the organisers of the Festival Castell de Peralada that she will not be able to perform her recital on 31 July due to the latest protocols established by the German government to curb the spread of COVID-19. These require a 5-day quarantine before travelling from Spain to Germany, which would make it impossible for Lise Davidsen to both sing at Peralada and at the Bayreuth Festival, where she is expected to perform in Richard Wagner’s Tannhaüser and Die Walküre. The soprano, aware of the anticipation surrounding her debut, wishes to convey her appreciation to the audience and informs that she and the festival’s organisers are already arranging for her to perform in next year’s edition.

The festival’s organisers will reimburse the full price of the tickets sold for this recital over the next few days.

Thank you for your understanding.
