BETWEEN BODY AND LANDSCAPE

Le Terroir is the latest creation from award-winning choreographer and dancer Lorena Nogal, who, alongside dancer Álvaro Esteban, performs her first duet in this site-specific production. Inspired by the process of transforming grapes into wine, Nogal explores the constant metamorphosis that human beings experience, both in body and mind. Created especially for the Perelada Winery, the piece uses the rural and architectural surroundings to take the audience on a sensory journey.

The show is presented in four still lifes distributed throughout the space, where spectators surround the dancers and are invited to complete the piece with their own perceptions, establishing a direct dialogue with the performers. This immersive experience breaks the fourth wall, drawing the audience into a universe of sensations, where dance merges with natural elements such as wind and earth.

Through her characteristic Kova language, developed together with LA VERONAL, Nogal creates a cubist, angular body that transforms into a work in constant metamorphosis. Together with Álvaro Esteban, they present an abstract and experimental dance piece that explores transformation not only in a physical sense but also as an existential journey. Franco Mento's innovative electronic music envelops the performance, adding a sensory dimension.
