Sílvia Pérez Cruz returns to the Perelada Festival with new songs and a new stage journey that defies all predictability. For her, every concert is a way of inhabiting song, transforming it into a story and a shared experience where music is not explained but traversed.
Her new project, developed over recent years, stems from a constant drive for research and an imagination that continually generates images and sounds. From the depths of the seas to a more open and expansive light, the concert unfolds as a journey through two textures, two tempos, two ways of speaking and of being. It begins in an intimate, almost secluded space and gradually opens towards a more luminous, almost choral dimension, without ever losing the emotional depth that defines her voice.
Accompanied by a trio with whom she shares a close on-stage rapport, Sílvia Pérez Cruz creates a sonic universe that moves naturally between languages, genres and traditions. Her voice, capable of holding fragility and intensity in a single gesture, becomes the centre of a performance that engages in dialogue with poetry, with memory and the present.
